Problem Note 57708: SAS® LASR™ Analytic Server (distributed) might fail while fetching and appending a large data set

If a large fetch action and a large append action are performed simultaneously, the Message Passing Interface (MPI) can become overwhelmed with data flowing from the worker nodes to the head node. As a result, the SAS LASR Analytic Server fails.
